My Futile Attempt at Draping

I've been wanting to try draping on my dress form for some time now. Today, I decided I'd give it a go. I just did a simple cowl neck top with a little rosette in the center of the back for an added detail. It's made from a navy blue, stretch velvet fabric. I think it drapes really well and  because it's a knit I didn't have to do any seam or hem finishes. It turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself. Who Says Records Aren't in Style Anymore?

I bought these records a few months ago and decided I should pull them out and create something different. So, I made these necklaces and I think they turned out interesting.
