Hello, everyone!!! I'm sooooo sorry I've been out of touch lately. I have been so extremely busy with school that I haven't had time to make much of anything. I've Been M.I.A.

Hello, all! I know I've been missing for sometime now. I just started back to school and on top of that my sewing machine is sick. So, I took "her" to the shop and now I wait. They told me it was going to ready last Tuesday... I waited til Friday then they said "she" should be ready by this Friday!!! I just want my machine back in one piece. It's lonely without the sweet sound of her motor. How I miss thee!!! I will be sewing more stuff as soon as she gets out. Be patient with me.

My Futile Attempt at Draping

I've been wanting to try draping on my dress form for some time now. Today, I decided I'd give it a go. I just did a simple cowl neck top with a little rosette in the center of the back for an added detail. It's made from a navy blue, stretch velvet fabric. I think it drapes really well and  because it's a knit I didn't have to do any seam or hem finishes. It turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself. (I will be delving into more draping in the future). Hope you like. As always, leave a comment!!!

Who Says Records Aren't in Style Anymore?

I bought these records a few months ago and decided I should pull them out and create something different. So, I made these necklaces and I think they turned out interesting.
